Armenian Genocide Events

Glendale Community College will be holding the following events in commemoration of the Armenian Genocide (as of April 22):

April 23:

  • ARMENIAN GENOCIDE REMEMBRANCE EVENT sponsored by the Armenian Students Associaton. Exhibit featuring educational materials such as newspaper articles from 1915-1923, books, maps and photos. There will also be a video montage running on two televisoion sets; Plaza Vaquero; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • CULTURAL DIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL: “Armenian Genocide” documentary in Room SC212. Noon. Free admission.

    The city of Glendale will be holding the following event in commemoration of the Armenian Genocide (as of April 22):

    April 24:

    The city of Glendale will be hosting a Genocide Commemoration Event at the Glendale Civic Auditorium on April 24 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., 1401 N. Verdugo Road. For more information, call (818) 548-4285.
