Plot: A Japanese yakuza boss is assassinated, and the yakuza puts a price out on the killer’s head. A lone hitman (Jet Li) hears of the reward, and gets buried deeper and deeper in the Japanese underworld.

Final Word: A.K.A. Hitman (the Hong Kong title), this Jet Li vehicle is a pretty decent action thriller. That is, if you watch it without sound. Really, stop releasing DVDs with only bad English dub tracks. It’s embarrassing, ruins the original film, and is simply insulting to our intelligence.
