GCC has canceled all Verdugo Campus classes on Friday, Oct. 18 to conduct a power shutdown in coordination with the City of Glendale Water and Power. Garfield Campus and the PDC will operate as normal.

The closure comes after a series of power outages have affected many buildings on campus over the past two weeks. The outages have been caused by the campus’s aging switchgear system, according to an email from the college.
