Glendale Community College’s Verdugo campus experienced a brief power outage across several buildings on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The outage occurred at 11:20 a.m., and power was restored by 12:40 p.m., according to an email from the college.

The Advanced Technology, Aviation, Library, Tongva, San Gabriel, Sierra Madre, and Student Center buildings were affected. Although many classes were dismissed early during the outage, afternoon classes and services continued as scheduled for the rest of the day. 

The college is actively monitoring the situation, and will provide updates via email if any unexpected changes occur.
