The ASGCC sponsored their annual Welcome Back Barbeque on Thursday in Plaza Vaquero. The event featured free hot dogs,  cupcakes, cotton candy, pastries and more. They also  had a DJ spinnings tunes, and the GCC Cheer Squad performed pumping  up the crowd. The watermelon eating contest tested the digestive tracts of the contestants, and Verdugo Fire Academy member Ejmin Mirzakhanian, 21, was the winner.
