I am 18-years-young. This is my first year at GCC. My major is administration justice, so I can pursue a career in social working. My main goal in life is to publish a book, so stay tuned. When I have free time, I enjoy listening and discovering new music. I am an advocate to all different music genres.
Even though my major is administration justice, I am one of those students who constantly change their major because I don’t have a mindset of what I plan on doing for the rest of my life, except write a book. I plan on continuing school to obtain several degrees because I feel as if I were to only get one degree, I will get bored of doing the same thing for the rest of my life.
A year ago, I was finishing up high school, waiting to attend UC Irvine to major in sociology. Things didn’t work out as planned and I didn’t end up going. This goes to show that nothing is predictable and not everything goes as planned. I just wanted to show an example of what is must feel like to think that you are stuck at a community college, because that was me at one point. But just remember every road goes somewhere, and the sky is the limit, so fly high.
