Lady Vaqs Back in Swing with Hawk Wilder Tournament

The annual Hawk Wilder Tournament at the Glendale Sports Complex last weekend signalled the opening of softball season. The Lady Vaqueros split their first two games in the tournament with a shut out by the Palomar College Comets 6-0 and a win against San Diego Mesa College 4-2, but with half of the team’s players returning as sophomores, experience gives them a strong edge in the coming season.
