The men’s soccer team (10-7-6) kept its championship hopes alive Tuesday against L.A. Harbor (16-14-1). In a game that would have sent them home for the winter with a loss, but they proved that they were worthy of being in the playoffs.
A 0-0 tie at the end of the second half forced a shootout between Glendale and L.A. Harbor, in which Glendale prevailed 7-6.
The 14th seeded Vaqueros play 6th seeded Irvine Valley Saturday at 2 p.m. at Irvine.
