The Vaqueros women soccer team had a difficult time containing L.A. Pierce on Tuesday, falling to a 4-0 loss; however, the women still have a shot at the playoffs.
They are now 12-6-2, which is a school record for wins, and 7-1-1 in the WSC South. Despite the loss, the women are playing great soccer.
They are coming off a 4-0 win over Canyons Oct. 29, in which Michelle Vega scored twice and Liliana Leon and Cynthia Villegas each hooked up for one a piece.
The team also prevailed over Bakersfield 4-3 Friday, with Leon scoring twice. Vega and Sophia Baghoomian each scored one.
