LOS ANGELES Michael Moore is planning a sequel to “Fahrenheit 9/11” entitled “Fahrenheit 9/11 1/2,” he told Daily Variety. “The official mourning period is over today,” said Moore, “and there is a silver lining: George W. Bush is prohibited by law from running again.” The film, expected for general release in 2006, will continue to focus on the war on Iraq and terrorism.
BURBANK, CALIF. Glendale College President and Superintendent John Davitt was honored last Thursday at The Castaway by the Patrons Club of GCC, which raised approximately $17,000 from the event. The money will go toward student scholarships.
GLENDALE, CALIF. “Dynamics of the Armenian Community: Access to Opportunity,” a forum discussion held on Nov. 10 at the Nestle building, was focused on defining the demographics of the diverse Armenian populace in Glendale for the purpose of better catering business to their needs. One of the speakers, GCC District Trustee Ara Najarian, said he tried to convey “the virtues of GCC and our entire student body in general.”
