Persian Student’s Association members serve food to students to promote their club, left. The club hosted the Persian food fair in the San Rafael Plaza from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. They offered two different meals for $5 each with a free drink. Foods included luleh kabob and chicken kabob, both served with tomato and green pepper, skewered and charbroiled and served on a bed of fluffy basmati rice with saffron.
“We hope to inform people about our culture,” said Vahishta Katrak, president of the Persian club.
