Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” will be performed on stage at
Glendale Community College on March 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. in observance of
National Women’s History Month and the V-Day campaign.
The Thursday and Friday shows will be in the Auditorium and the Saturday
performance will be held in the Student Center.

GCC student organizations United Womyn’s Council and Theatre Guild are
presenting the shows.

Tickets are $12 general admission and $5 for students and
seniors. Proceeds will go to the Glendale YWCA Domestic Violence

Ensler wrote the play in 1996 based on interviews she conducted
with women around the world. It has been widely performed in the U.S. and
abroad.

V-Day performances support programs to end violence against women
and girls.
