Minor Earthquake Rattles San Francisco Bay Area; No Reports of Injuries, Damage

SAN RAMON, Calif. (AP) – A minor earthquake rattled the San Francisco Bay area early Sunday. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
The magnitude-3.9 quake struck at 6:54 a.m. about two miles southeast of San Ramon and about 26 miles east of San Francisco, according to a preliminary report by the U.S. Geological Survey.
Although some residents called the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department inquiring about the quake, there were no reports of injuries or damages, a sheriff’s dispatcher said.
