Plot: A country boy lands a job as a bicycle messenger, and the silver mountain bike he is issued will be paid off with his wages. On the day he is to make the final payment, the bicycle is stolen, and a tug-of-war ensues once the bicycle turns up in the crowded city of Beijing.

Final Word: Although Beijing Bicycle isn’t the greatest movie of last year, the disc’s beautiful digital transfer really makes the breathtaking cinematography shine. Not many exciting features, but well worth seeing on DVD if you missed it on the big screen.
