Raymundo Vasquez led the Glendale College men’s Cross Country to their first win this season as he placed second with a personal best time of 20:29.1.
Glendale won with a total of 48 points, Cerritos was a close second with 51 and Oxnard was third with 62 points.
Ricky Hernandez finished sixth in 21:29.1, a personal best time. Joseph Lopez finished ninth with a time of 21:12.3, Osbaldo Vargas was 11th in 21:17.8, Ivan Perez was 13th in 21:19.1 and Preston Richardson was 18th in 21:25.1.
The women’s squad placed fourth with 90 points, finishing behind first place Cerritos who had 33 points and second place Bakersfield with 53.
The next meet for Glendale is the Western State Conference Championship in Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
