The Glendale College men’s basketball team beat West Los Angeles College Feb. 1 in the Verdugo Gym. The team improved to 5-2 in the Western State Conference and 17-4 overall with a 74-63 win.

The win for the men was No. 587 for head coach Brian Beauchemin, as he is just one victory away from tying for No. 4 all-time among state community college coaches. Jason Etienne leads five Vaqueros in double figures with 17 points and Santiago Grady and Gor Plavchyan had 13 each.
