“Cirque Berzerk” is in town and with its fire-eaters, freaks, aerial acrobats, contortionists and burlesque dancers and it sure isn’t the Ringling Brothers we grew up with.

This circus theme comes from the dark side (as opposed to the Soleil) and is subversively evil and definitely titillating. Live music from members of the infamous Mutaytors accompanies this delightfully twisted rendering of Orpheus’ descent into the underworld.
Don’t miss this technically challenging and creatively outrageous event. Luckily for Los Angeles “Cirque Berzerk” has added two more dates to its schedule of performances here (the first four were sold out) on Friday and Saturday.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show start at 8:30 p.m. The show is located in a big top downtown at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, 1245 N. Spring St., Los Angeles. Tickets range in price from $35 to $65 and can be ordered from In Ticketing at http://www.inticketing.com/evinfo.php?eventid=26805 .
Pack a picnic and enjoy beverages from the wine and beer garden beforehand. For more information visit the Cirque Berzerk official Web site at http://cirqueberzerk.com/beneath/index.html .
