  • The GCC Police Department is currently holding its seventh Annual Toy and Food Drive on campus. This year?s drive, which has been in effect since Nov. 28, has received a generous response from the GCC community. The drive will benefit GCC students in need. ?We could always use more so that we could also give more,? said Nidal Kobaissi, coordinator of the drive. Wrapped and unwrapped toys and food donations can be dropped off in the GCC Campus Police department or in the mailroom in the administration building until Wednesday.
  • Finals begin today and end Dec. 21.
  • The Ethnic Food Fair that was held on Dec. 4 in Plaza Vaquero offered the GCC community more than 30 different types of food from all over the world. For only $1 a plate, students and faculty were able to choose from Jewish, Swedish, Italian, Armenian, Filipino, Middle-Eastern, Argentinean, and Vietnamese foods. More than 100 GCC students and faculty participated in the event, which is planned to take place during the last month of every semester.
