Soon after, the GCC bullpen fell short when Santa Ana took advantage of the bullpen, with a two-run homer in the last inning scoring three runs making the final 9-8.
The last game of the series was a bit of a wild one. The Vaqueros had an away game at Santa Ana but had to finish early due to daylight. Santa Ana would be the first to score runs in leading 3-0.
The Vaqueros would answer back scoring one run in the third but soon after Santa Ana would score in two more runs. Soon in the game they would also score six more runs in the fifth.
They would keep dominating, having four more runs scored in. Trailing 15-6 entering the seventh they would be aggressive with their hitting and baserunning. Two players having a dominant base running as well as outfielder Jackson Pratt having delivered an RBI single.
Many of these runs came from many errors as wild pitches and passed balls. Infielder David Lozano had led the offense with two walks and a RBI, including a double in the seventh going 3-for-3.
They would end up scoring 18-15 but the last inning for the Vaqueros would not count for them. So, the game would just be declared as a tie game 15-15 was the final for the last game of the series.
