Wildfire Burns Above Glendale

Wildfire+Burns+Above+Glendale

A brush fire that started on Sunday afternoon continues to burn on the hillsides of Brand Park.

According to officials, the fire spread to 126 acres, injuring two firefighters. Three hikers were treated for dehydration by paramedics after being evacuated from the park. The Glendale fire department is being helped by other cities such as Los Angeles, Burbank, Pasadena and Los Angeles County.

At last report the fire had been 90 percent contained. So far officials haven’t found the cause of the fire. Firefighters will continue to patrol the area for at least a week.
