Paramore Rocks Teen Audiences

Move over, Jonas Brothers – the hottest band on the “Twilight” soundtrack, Paramore, threw an outdoor mini-concert outside of the Hollywood and Highland Hot Topic on Nov. 18, performing songs from the movie sound rack.

“Twilight” cast members Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart presented the band on stage as excited fans screamed relentlessly. Also in attendance were cast members Kellan Lutz, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone.

Songs that were performed included previous hit “Misery Business” and new song “Decode,” exclusively from the soundtrack.

After Paramore’s performance, titled “The Lost Show,” the movie cast came onto the stage and participated in a question and answer session with the energetic fans.
The screaming didn’t stop as Paramore returned and did an autographing session along with the movie cast.

“The Lost Show was absolutely amazing. I’ve seen Paramore perform plenty before and this show had just as much energy as any other and it was so much fun. They are awesome performers!” said fan Catharine Acurso, 19.
As the stars and band members departed, the resounding screams of hundreds of fans left the streets of Hollywood ringing.

Besides “Decode,” Paramore also contributed the song “I Caught Myself” to the soundtrack. Also on the film’s sound track are bands Muse, Linkin Park, and Iron & Wine.

The “Twilight” soundtrack has rocketed to the top of the Billboard charts, hitting number one. Having sold more than 165,000 copies, the soundtrack’s popularity has translated onto the big screen, as “Twilight” has grossed more than $70 million dollars on opening weekend. Summit Entertainment has announced plans to move forward with the sequel “New Moon.”
